- Innovative

The LED technology is innovative and durable. The lamp requires low-maintenance and is vandalism-proof.
Existing systems using standard posts can easily be replaced.

- Economical

Up to 50 % power savings compared to high-pressure mercury vapour lamps and fluorescent lamps with the same luminous efficacy. Further energy savings can be
achieved by automatic night-time dimming.

- Efficient

The fine-tuning between the ballast (converter) and the LEDs results in high efficiency in terms of power consumption and light output.

- Environmentally friendly

Lower power consumption helps to reduce CO2 emissions.
The light sources (LEDs) do not contain any harmful substances such as the mercury contained in conventional lamps.
Less insects are attracted due to the lower UV radiation.

- The centrepiece: high-power LEDs

This component starts emitting light when a DC voltage is applied to the semiconductor crystal. The current defines the brightness. A fluorescent material determines the colour temperature of the white light.
The best natural colour rendering of illuminated objects is achieved in the range of 5000 K. The LEDs used here are equipped with an additional glass lens with an aperture angle of 90°.
The focused light can thus be directed to where it is needed, and no loss occurs due to 360° radiation and reflectors (as in conventional lamps).
